How we collect and check our data
Last updated
Every figure on GamesChart has a source and a date. Where a publisher discloses odds or drop rates, we link the disclosure and record the date we read it. Where we measure something ourselves, such as the cost of completing an event, we describe how we measured it.
We re-check each dataset on a published schedule and show the last-checked date next to it. When a figure changes, the old value stays in the page history rather than being silently overwritten.
We do not publish a number we cannot source. If a publisher does not disclose a figure, we say so rather than estimate it.
